Dr. Jess Misiorowski earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana. Dr. Misiorowski continued on to complete her doctorate degree from the University of Missouri- St. Louis. During her time at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Dr. Misiorowski spent time completing clinical rotations at St. Louis University Hospital, Koetting Eye Center, Affinia Healthcare and Aloha Laser Vision; where she was able to train under doctors whose specialties ranged from cataracts-refractive surgery to specialty contact lenses. Along with focusing on her studies Dr. Misiorowski was involved in many clubs such as private practice club, AOSA, MOA and served as vice president for SVOSH as well as being class president for 3 years.
Dr. Misiorowski enjoys primary care optometry and routine exams, but found her true passion with post operative care and helping patients with dry eye disease. Dr. Misiorowski loves co-managing patients’ post surgery care and feels privileged to be a part of the patients’ journey as they experience a new view on life. Additionally, Dr. Misiorowski strives in helping patients with dry eye disease and is certified in Lipiflow, TearCare and Intense Pulse Light technology.
Dr. Misiorowski was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Florida to stay close to her parents as family has always been very important to her. Dr. Misiorowski is tri-lingual, speaking English, Spanish and Polish.
Outside of the exam room, Dr. Misiorowski enjoys traveling the world, learning new languages, enjoying outside, cooking, and spending time with her three cats, Stella, Chimay and Pippen.
