NEW RETINA CENTER at The Center for Excellence In Eye Care Officially Opens!
Due to our success and expansion…we are pleased to announce the OFFICIAL Grand Opening of the Center for Excellence in Eye Care’s RETINA CENTER today, March 7th, 2019!
Our new Retina center is located in Suite #501, on the 5th floor of the East Tower of the Baptist Medical Arts Center. Our main clinic where we treat all other eye conditions is located on the 4th floor, one floor below this new center. The retina center is a brand new abundant space. It boasts its own reception area, testing room, ultrasonography, and state of the art equipment. The center is pleasant and spacious. We have the same courteous staff and phone numbers as our main clinic and it is the same scheduling arrangements. We just basically acquired more space in order to continue to give our retina patients the excellent care you have been accustomed to!
We currently have 3 Retina Subspecialist Surgeons: Dr. Pedro Lopez, Dr. Louis Kasner and Dr. Andrew Schimel. To learn more, click on their names!
We also would like to announce that we will be welcoming a new Retina specialist in the summer, Dr. Prashant Parekh.
Our doctors have been eagerly awaiting this expansion: “We are excited to move to a new space that will allow us to fit all of the newest state of the art equipment to optimize both our treatment and outcomes. The new layout provides for maximum efficiency which will reduce our retina patients’ waiting times significantly and increase the comfort and flow from the check in process through their evaluation and treatment” Andrew Schimel, MD, proudly states.
